EL PASO,Texas- one person was killed and three other people were injured wednesday after a shooting in a shopping mall,according to authorities of EI paso,alreday a dozens of people already killed this year in mass shooting across the united states.
after the hours of gun fire two people hadbeen taken into custody ,according to EI paso police department ,though details of what led to the shooting remained unclear.one person died in the shooting and three were injured confirmed by spokesperson Sgt.robert Gomez.
interim police cheif peter pacillas said that cielo vista Mall was still considered a crime scene and that it would remain locked down untill authorities had completed their investigation.pacillas stressed that the danger had passed
there is no more danger.i want to repeat that;there is no more danger to the public;According to him.
the names and ages of the suspects were not released.pacillas also said the gunman was taken down quickly by an off-duty police officer who was working security at a store in the mall.he said the office did not fire his weapon.

Police rushed to mall as customers ran out:
at about 5;05 pm the 911 center received calls about the shooting according to pacillas.accrding to him at about 5:08 the off duty responded and immidiatly took suspect into custody.
According to him “it was a dynamic scene and it was quickly brought under control,”adding there was no more danger to the public after the two suspects were taken into custody.accordin to gomez the first call came about 5:10 pm when shots fired,and multiple law enforcement units responded.
Injured victims taken to area hospitals
according to Gomez the three wounded were transported to area hospitals.
WE have two patients,both in critical condition,:said university medical center of EI paso spokesman ryan mielke.the two patients were male according to mielke.
